this month brought us FINALLY some summer like temperatures. Lake surface temp up until the weekend was hitting almost 70F. Had little rain and consistant weather patterns for most of the month. Temps dropped off starting yesterday with a day time high of only 47F and an over night low of 35F. Temps are supposed to remain in the mid 50's for the rest of the week. Fishing was good for the month. Musky's were hot when they were on the bite and then would totally shut off the next day. Walleyes and Northern were biting hard. Still fishing walleyes in the 30 foot range. Pics of Sept fishing have been added to the photo album. Scott and the bow hunters hunted all week last week in way above normal temps and horrible mosquitoes. More sign of moose starting to rut as the temps got cooler, we were probably a week or so too early with the weather for a great hunt. Animals were seen by all hunters. Duck hunting has not really started yet, again with the warm weather and lack of north winds....soon enough I suppose.
