Weather has finally warmed up and stayed consistant. The warmer temps have been a long time coming this season so far. The sun and heat feel GOOD. Temps in some of the bays have hit the high 60's and the lake warm up has started. Cabbage weed is starting to show some signs of growth.
No musky fishermen in off the opener. Guys have been walleye and smallie fishing.
Yesterday, June 21 was an incredible big walleye day. They were slamming baits hard. Ty was out with a long time guest and each had their personal best walleye day. In 4 fish caught and released they had over 100 inches of walleye. The biggest they got was 29.5". We also had a 31" walleye caught and released by another party. Each cabin fishing for walleye saw great numbers of slot and over slot fish yesterday.
