Temps have again warmed up to the low 70's, night time temps are still falling to the 50's or high 40's which is cool for this time of year yet. 2 weeks ago the temps fell back to the high 50's during the day and we had some rainfall, no significant amounts. Water lake level is now avg to high. Walleyes are starting to move to the walleye rocks out front with the warmer temps. Cabbage beds are coming up finally. Bass had a late spawn and they seem to have spread out. 51" musky was boated off the Island in front and another 55" was reportedly caught near the river on a jig and minnow. Walleyes have been biting on crawlers and leeches...numbers of them have been caught with the staple jig and minnow, but the bigger fish have been predominantly taking the crawler and leech. Avg water surface temps at the moment are 64F.
