Weather has warmed up, we are actually seeing some summer like temps for the last 4 days. Starting around Aug 8. Surface temps on lake ( East side) 70-75F. Mostly musky fisherman in camp at the moment. Lots of fish being caught,check out some of the pics posted under the Photo tab. Biggest so far 52.5", 2 others caught in the 50 inch range. Small Mouth fishing while slower is still decent...18" the largest boated. Musky fisherman have been breaking mid day and catching nice eater walleyes for lunch. Still doing better on crawlers than jig and minnows. Huge northern photos as well!
Bear hunting opens on the 15th (Saturday). Baits being hit consistently and big bear caught on trail cam.
