Eagle Lake Lodge is the place to be. EAGLE LAKE offers a challenge to the fisherman - record Muskie have been taken from the lake. Cast or troll for this fierce fighter as well as for Walleye, Northern Pike or Smallmouth Bass. Eagle Lake Lodge is an affordable DRIVE-IN RESORT. We pride ourselves on 1st class, friendly service. Whether you choose AMERICAN PLAN (which includes three meals a day, daily maid service and fish cleaning), or HOUSEKEEPING, you will stay in your own private fully modern cabin. Cabins sleep from 2 to 12 people, have separate bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and three piece bathrooms. They are equipped with comfortable beds, dishes, cookware, blankets and sheets. Propane gas for cooking and heating and electric refrigerators. While you're taking in the beauty of Eagle Lake, listen to the loons or catch a glimpse of our resident bald eagles. Pull up on one of our many islands and enjoy the taste of fresh fish during a shore lunch.

Fantastic Family Resort in Ontario Canada For the vacationer with a family, there's hours of boating fun on Eagle, swimming in sparkling clear water, waterskiing and lots of sandy beach. The rugged beauty of the countryside is the perfect setting for hiking, picnics, berry picking, rock collecting and, of course, the naturalist. Top off a fun-filled day with a famous Northern "shorelunch". Succulent fillets sizzling in the pan will tempt the most jaded appetite.

Great Ontario Fishing! Although being a good size body of water (68,426 acres - 405 miles of shoreline), with it's many bays, islands and creeks, Eagle seems quite friendly. Eagle Lake Lodge is located on the northeast side of the lake. We will sit down and go over a map with you upon your arrival at camp, talking about where we would try for different species of fish. We use new 25/40 h.p. Mercury motors and 16 ft. Lund boats. There is no motor size "restriction" on Eagle Lake. Great Fishing & A Fine Family Drive-in Resort

Convenient Services at the Resort For your convenience, you may purchase gas, both live and artificial bait at the Lodge, as well as fishing and hunting licenses. General supplies may be purchased at Eagle River, only 4 1/2 miles from the Lodge. Charter flights can be arranged to adjacent lakes for fishing and hunting. Please inquire about our big game and bird hunting seasons. Guides are available by pre-arrangement.

Travel Tips Our lodge is 4 1/2 miles from the town of Eagle River on Hwy. 594 - a total of 20 miles from Dryden airport. BY CAR : Cross the border and clear customs at Fort Frances, Ontario. Drive east on Hwy. 11 to the junction of Hwy. 502. Turn north on 502 to Ojibway Drive, then west 10 1/2 miles to Eagle Lake. Total distance from the border to camp is 120 miles. BY PLANE : Private planes can land 1/2 miles west of our lodge on a sod airstrip. Strip is 2600 ft. long by 250 ft. wide. Direction is NW-SE, the direction of the prevailing winds. Float equipped airplanes can land at our own harbour facility. For larger aircraft, Dryden has a modern jet airstrip and we can arrange to have you picked up. You can clear customs at the Dryden airport.
